The First Karkat[]
- "If you don't want to die, you learn to fight and you learn to kill. I don't want to die."
Karkat is an otherworldly tribute from the75th Hunger Games. He was originally reaped for Arena 06 and was one of the Tributes who died when the Capitol blew up a number of starting platforms before Arena 11's Cornucopia run.
Before the Games[]
Karkat grew up in the normal troll fashion on Alternia, little knowing that he was secretly being protected by the Sufferist cult that regarded him as the second coming of their savior. On his sixth wriggling day he ended up playing a reality altering video game called Sgrub, which allowed him to escape his world's subsequent destruction along with eleven of his friends.
The twelve trolls eventually won their game and were about to receive their reward of a brand new universe, when a sinister canine figure of possible demonic nature attacked them and destroyed the door to their universe.
It was at that point that the Capitol decided to extract Karkat.
During the Games[]
Karkat became a rusbish tribute during the sixth week of the sixth arena. An hour into the game, he garroted Chibiusa. He then met up with The Signless who was bleeding from his wound from Parker. He initially attempted to garrote the older troll, but upon seeing Signless's blood color ended up taking the older troll into his protection. While protecting Signless he later had an altercation with Punchy. He also garroted Gavroche for his second kill in the arena.
Signless and Karkat made an alliance with Cuthbert Allgood, which lasted a few days while the three of the worked on Cuthbert's trap.
